What to Include

For the fastest and most accurate quotation, include as many of the following details as possible when emailing us.

Chain Specification

ISO/BS/ANSI standard number, pitch, strand count, and sawtooth plate requirement (e.g. 16B-1 simplex with sawtooth side plates).

Quantity Required

Total metres or feet of chain, or number of links. Indicate if this is a one-off or recurring annual volume.

Application Description

The type of machinery or conveyor system — helps us recommend the right hardness grade and surface treatment for your conditions.

Delivery Location

Your destination port or warehouse address. We quote CIF, FOB, and ex-works depending on your preference.

Required Delivery Date

Target date so we can confirm whether existing stock or production lead time fits your project schedule.

Drawing or Photo

If matching an existing chain, a photo or dimensional drawing removes ambiguity and speeds up the quotation process.

Pro tip: If you have an existing chain with a manufacturer part number stamped on the side plate, include that reference. We cross-reference most major brands and can match or improve on the original specification.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1

What is the minimum order quantity?

We hold stock of common pitches (08B, 10B, 12B, 16B, ANSI 40, 50, 60, 80) and can supply from one metre. For custom or non-catalogue items, MOQs are advised at the quotation stage and are generally 50 to 100 metres.

2

How long does delivery take to Australia?

Standard catalogue items are typically dispatched within 2 to 5 business days from our warehouse. Custom production runs 3 to 6 weeks depending on complexity and current production load.

3

Can you supply chains with attachment plates or extended pins?

Yes. Attachment plates (K1, K2, and bent-lug types) and extended-pin configurations are part of our custom specification service. Send your drawing or describe the attachment geometry in your enquiry.

4

Do you offer corrosion-resistant chain options?

We supply nickel-plated, stainless-steel (304 and 316 grade), and zinc-phosphate-coated variants for food processing, marine, and chemical environments. Lead times and pricing vary by specification.

5

Is a technical datasheet available for each product?

Yes. PDF datasheets covering dimensional data, minimum tensile strength, maximum allowable load, and lubrication recommendations are available on request alongside the quotation.

6

How do I know the chain will match my existing drive?

Include your existing chain's part number, pitch, and strand count in your enquiry. We cross-reference most major brands and can confirm dimensional compatibility before you order. A photo of the chain side plate is also helpful.
